1956 Summer Withies drying on a country lane near North Curry, West Sedgemoor, Somerset. The Withies are thin branches often called osiers from several varieties of willow. They are used for basket work, a custom that continues in this region today.

Camera: A West German Baldix 77.5mm F4.5 Westar three element lens, Prontor S shutter. Film Ilford HP3/ yellow filter x 2, 1/ 300 second at F8. Developed by hand using Kodak D 163 at normal dilution.
