When complete our galleries will hold approximately 500 photographs from our silver film archive.

Each silver halide photographic negative has been preserved with a hand-created provenance including in most cases the type of film and the way it was processed. Our negatives are kept in archival quality acid free files with temperature carefully controlled.

The pictures are available only as numbered silver prints on silver gelatin paper carefully selected to match the subject.

PLEASE NOTE

Our prints are not chromogenic/ C Type prints which are less expensive and often labelled as silver halide

PRINTS

We can offer RC [resin coated] single-weight paper from Ilford at photographic sizes 10 x 8 inches and 12 x 10 inches and FB [fibre based paper] made by Ilford in 10 x 8 inches or 12 x10 inches. The surfaces are either 'glossy' or 'lustre' which is a smooth almost eggshell-like finish. We can supply larger sizes on the RC and FB papers and hand made gold toned prints to order on FB papers

We have a small number of our original hand made prints from the 1970's and 1980's on a variety of papers. Some are on DW [double weight] fibre papers as the range was much greater in those days. A few of these rare older prints are available on Ebay - look for Nonesuch Silver Prints

Our prices start at £55 for an RC 10 x 8 and £95 for a FB 10 x 8.
