1962 January, England. My treasured Microflex camera had been ovehauled after a long journey and I was testing it before travelling again. On a winter's day in a Buckinghamshire wood this old beech tree had just the right light and textures.

Camera: MPP Microflex Twin Lens Reflex with F3.5 77.5mm Taylor Taylor Hobson lens. Film Kodak Tri X at F5.6 1/125 second. Developed by hand using Microdol at normal dilution.
