1962 August England. Cricket on the village green at Tilford, Surrey. After almost nine months dusty travelling in deserts of the Middle East this scene and the local 'pub The Barley Mow were an absolutely idyllic relaxation. The oak tree giving shade bore an iron plate nailed to the trunk. It was inscribed British Oak Planted to commemorate the 50 year's reign of Queen Victoria 1897.

Camera: MPP Microflex Twin Lens Reflex with F3.5 77.5mm Taylor Taylor Hobson lens. Film Kodak Verichrome Pan at F8- 1/300 second. Developed by hand using Kodak Microdol at normal dilution.
