1956 EIRE/ IRELAND A young country boy in Central Ireland with his donkeys carrying peat in basket panniers. At that time peat was largely used as fuel for the family fire. It was a chance stop on a mountainside during a caving expedition with university friends.

Camera: A West German Baldix 77.5mm F4.5 Westar three element lens, Prontor S shutter. Film Kodak Plus X, 1/60 second at F5.6. Developed by hand using Kodak Microdol at normal dilution.
