1955 Summer. A view to Cothelstone Hill, at 322 metres one of the highest points of the Quantock Hills in Somerset. At the central point of the picture is a group of beech trees known as The Seven Sisters. In 2014 many of the beeches were threatened by disease and were due to be felled. It is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Camera: A West German Baldix 77.5mm F4.5 Westar three element lens, Prontor S shutter. Film Kodak Plus X yellow filter x 2, 1/125 second at F8. Developed by hand using Kodak Microdol at normal dilution.
