1966 September, Romania. On the island of Ada Kaleh in the Danube river close to Droeja Turnu Severin. The top of small house stands out above the walls of the 18th century fortress. The flock of geese knows the way home but in 1971 this house, the land and the fort were destroyed before the island was covered by water rising behind the massive Iron Gate l dam just downstream. And the geese? Like the people they had to move on.
