1962 March - Jordan. In the Jordan river valley close to Jericho. Three women carry water jars to a camp of mud brick houses. The landscape was harsh and living pitifully poor. This is taken from a small section of the original picture as my camera did not have a telephoto lens.

Camera MPP Microflex Twin Lens Reflex with F3.5 77.5mm Taylor Taylor Hobson lens. Film Kodak Verichrome Pan at F8 - 1/ 250 second. My film was developed in Amman the Jordanian capital by Hagop Berberian, Photographer by Appointment to HM The King.
