1961 USA Florida Great stands of the Bald-Cypress trees (Taxidium distichum) are one of the great features of the Everglades Swamps. This picture was taken about 72 kms (45 miles) west of Miami in an area which since 1974 has been protected as the Big Cypress National Preserve.

Camera: MPP Microflex Twin Lens Reflex with F3.5 77.5mm Taylor Taylor Hobson lens. Film Kodak Verichrome Pan at F8 - 1/250 second. Developed by hand in the USA, using May and Baker Promicrol at normal dilution.
