1963 PARAGUAY The remarkable 13 storey Hotel Guarani was built and opened two years earlier in 1961. The architect was Brasilian Adolpho Morales Rubio and the project was originated by the country's dictator, President Alfredo Stroessner. The Hotel is overlooking the beautiful Plaza de los Heroes, now totally changed and renamed as the Plaza de la Democracia. During its lifetime the Hotel has been visited by many notable people including President Charles de Gaulle, Neil Armstrong, and HRH Prince Philip.

Camera MPP Microflex Twin Lens Reflex with F3.5 77.5mm Taylor Taylor Hobson lens - yellow filter 1x. Film Kodak Verichrome Pan at F8 - 1/300 second. Developed by hand in England, using Kodak Microdol at normal dilution.
