Peru A difficult shot without flash in one of the narrow streets of Pisac,
a village in the Valley of Vilcanota known today as the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
At the time of this, my first visit, Pisac was still the traditional market centre
for Quechua people from the surrounding mountains. This picture is full of detail.
The women are walking bare-foot on the cobbled stones, wearing home spun cloth
skirts with woven decorated edges and the woman leading the donkey is using a
hand twisted rope. The man with his fine poncho is wearing a woollen hat decorated
with mother-of-pearl buttons.
