1961 Peru Cusco. The massive Inca construction of Sacsayhuaman on a hill above the city of Cusco. Some of the stones are reputed to weigh 200 tons and were hauled by hundreds of men from a quarry 15kms from this site. The stones were shaped by pounding with other rocks and they fit together perfectly without mortar.
