1963 June - Peru Cuzco /also Cusco. This old street Hathun'rumiyoq or 'way' is part of the ancient Inca centre and it led outwards from the Great Square in the direction of the Antisuyu quarter of the empire. The large stone has 12 angles and was part of the kancha wall housing the palace of Inca Roq'a the 6th emperor. In 1963 Cuzco was still 'home' to a few Quechua families and visted by just a handful of tourists. The old streets were virtually empty.

Camera: MPP Microflex Twin Lens Reflex with F3.5 77.5mm Taylor Taylor Hobson lens. Film Kodak Verichrome Pan at F8 - 1/300 second. Developed by hand in Cuzco, using Kodak Microdol at normal dilution.
